GHK-Cu Hair & Scalp Serum

A focused copper-peptide formula. A research review of the ingredients, evidence and everyday trade-offs.

OUR EDITORIAL VERDICT

An interesting option for shoppers who specifically want GHK-Cu and a very short ingredient list. The declared concentration should prompt evidence questions, rather than an assumption that more is better.

What is in the formula?

GHK-Cu / Copper Tripeptide-1

The brand lists distilled water and GHK-Cu, with a stated 2,400 mg / 4% concentration. This is a manufacturer specification, not our laboratory measurement.

Our assessment

This product represents the focused end of the market: a copper complex rather than a long list of different botanical technologies. That makes the label easy to understand, although a shorter list is not automatically safer or more effective.

Our comparison separates three questions that are often mixed together. What is in the bottle? What does quality testing measure? Has the finished bottle produced a clinically meaningful result in an appropriate human study? A convincing answer to one does not answer the others.

If you prefer minimal formulations, ask the manufacturer about the current batch report, shelf life and storage instructions. Those are practical product-quality questions, not evidence of a problem. We do not rank this above conventional multi-peptide formulas simply because its stated concentration is higher.

Reasons to consider it

  • A clearly identified copper-peptide ingredient
  • Very short published ingredient list
  • Brand provides links to laboratory reports

Trade-offs to weigh

  • Concentration does not establish a human hair-growth benefit
  • Independent finished-product efficacy is not established here
  • International checkout and delivery need confirmation

What the evidence supports

Published GHK-Cu delivery research includes a 2023 mouse study of a specialised microemulsion. This retail water-based serum is not that formulation, and the experiment does not prove its effects in women.

We have not tested this product or measured hair counts. Product placement reflects ingredient transparency and shopping fit, not a claim of superior regrowth. Read our guide to clinical claims.

Routine considerations

Follow the hair-and-scalp bottle instructions, including storage guidance. Do not substitute research powders, injectable products or the brand’s separate facial serum.

Buying in the US and Europe

Ships from the US. The shipping policy lists 1–3 business days for processing; destination-specific transit and taxes should be checked before purchase.
